We had four field trips for my summer course on Science Instruction for Informal Settings. The Lowry Park Zoo, in Tampa, was second on our list. We didn't just go there to visit the animals but we conducted observations, evaluated interpretative signs and enclosures, competed the activity sheets and went on a behind-the-scenes tour.
