  4. thanks wikee... one paper and presentation down... curriculum design paper and presentation next...

what did you think about my research? Did it make sense? In the beginning, I thought that I did not have enough resources. Turns out they were more than enough and I had to cut down my paper since it was getting too long - we were required to submit a minimum of 10 pages, mine was 33 (excluding biblio and endnotes) hahaha!!! No wonder naloloka ako...

  5. Your paper was really well researched and you spoke like you have been doing registration work for years... :-) The only thing I felt that could be improved upon was your personal take on the methods proposed but everything was well explained naman kaya maganda! I actually lent it to Mary Ann so she could read it asap! :-)

Thank you for sharing the paper with me ! Great work kapatid!

  6. I couldn't comment much on the proposed methods kasi I don't have much practical experience on it... I think a person with as much experience as you have would be able to provide a better point of view, kasi to me, they made sense. But we both know that theory doesn't always translate into practice...furthermore, especially for contemporary art, case to case basis din, di ba?

One of my classmates did her research on the role of a registrar in returning nazi looted art in their museum... or something like that... to introduce her topic, she showed an excerpt from the film entitled " The Rape of Europa". It was based on a book of the same title. It's astonishing how methodical the Nazi's went about the looting of art in Europe during WWII. Before the end of the war, they've already collected 1/5 of the arts from the western world! The rest that were considered "degenerate" were either sold or destroyed.

  8. My Prof. said that the presentation was excellent, but she said that to everyone who presented anyway... hahaha... I'll let you know after I get my paper back or after I get my grade for the course. We still have a written exam on December 17 for that class.
